We all buy green cleaning products by now, right? There is absolutely no reason not too because they clean just as well as the rest, but without damaging our environment. But what if I told you that you can make your own cleaning products - cheap and green - and extremely effective. Would you give it a try? Please do!

Sport & nature as therapy

18 Dec 2018

Nothing is as therapeutical as spending quality time outdoors. Not to me at least, and I know many of you out there agree. The few people who don't agree have probably never really experienced quality time outdoors. In nature we get to collect energy, clear negative thoughts, find perspective and breathe fresh air. We are ment to spend our days outdoors, feeling the elements in and on our bodies. More and more we are loosing this connection and that's why its power hits us so hard when we venture out every now and then. Anyone who has experienced the power of any kind of therapy will recognize it when connecting to nature.

Preparation is key

I am just thinking of this today because I am getting prepared for a weekend in the Alps. I am trying to borrow some ski gear from friends, but I will also have to buy some new stuff, like ski boots. How to choose ski boots? Well, don't ask your friends for advice - that's my first piece of advice, because they will all tell you different things. You can find a great deal of information online, both on Youtube - of course - but also on sites like freeride.com.

When it comes to extreme weather conditions being well prepped is everything to get a good experience. You don't want to be cold or uncomfortable when visiting cold and snowy environments. Skiing is an amazing sport, but only if you have the right gear.

Packing made easy

6 Dec 2017

Packing is one of those things we are exposed to without having much of an idea on how to go about it. Most of the other things we need to face in our lives, like claning, washing and cooking, comes with some sort of preparation, but when it comes to packing, we are usually dumbfounded. Thank heavens for Youtube then :). After watching this clip you'll pack like a pro!

Saving money

2 Nov 2017

Being able to save money is a character thing much more that whether or not you make big money or not. Some people are "savers" by nature and others are the exact opposite. The key is to take control of your economy, which might be easier said than done, but if you are stubborn enough you can do it.

First you have to take a look att your expenses. Always pay important bills immedialtely after payday, so they are out of the way and you are safe when it comes to housing, phone, electricity and food (but don't spend too much on food, there's no need). After that, check how much money is left and what other expenses you will have the following month, and subtract that amount.

What is left can be used for spending carelessly, or saving. Or a mix of the two. It is now up to you to chose where they go. Saving money for a few moths may give you enough money to do something really cool, like travel. And saving money for a few years might enable you to buy your dream house. Think about it!
